JUNIOR SAILING CAMP 2027
WELCOME TO JUNIOR SAILING AT ISLAND BAY

Junior Sailing Camp at Island Bay Yacht Club gives young sailors ages 8–15 the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends, and enjoy summer on the water.
Whether your child is stepping into a sailboat for the first time or developing racing skills, our program combines hands-on instruction, games, and plenty of time sailing in a fun, supportive environment.
2027 CAMP SESSIONS
Junior Sailing Camp (Sessions 1-3)
Regular two-week sessions for beginner through advanced sailors.
Encore Camp
Two additional weeks for sailors registered in Sessions 1, 2, or 3.
Race Camp
A 5-day intensive session dedicated racing program focused on improving skills and competition.
2027 Camp Tuition
$500
per regular camp session
Season Pass
Includes all five sessions: Sessions 1–3, Encore Camp, and Race Camp as well as discounts on all IBYC Junior Events and first choice of boat

Session 3
Session 1 is open to all beginning sailors and will cover the basics of sailing.
There are morning and afternoon sessions available or you may choose to register for both the morning and afternoon. Sailors choosing this option need to bring or buy lunch at the Snack Bar.
Camp does not meet on Monday June 9 or Monday June 16.
Session 2
Session 2 spans the 4th of July holiday. There will be no class on Friday July 4. There is also no class on July 7.
This session is open to both beginner and intermediate sailors.
Session 1
Session 1 is open to all beginning sailors and will cover the basics of sailing.
There are morning and afternoon sessions available or you may choose to register for both the morning and afternoon. Sailors choosing this option need to bring or buy lunch at the Snack Bar.
Camp does not meet on Monday June 9 or Monday June 16.
